We make every effort possible to be recyclable and respectful of our environment. Our prefabrication methods control the amount of waste that is produced, and our factory guidelines control every bit of raw material we use. We maximize its capacity by organizing the CNC cutting in an efficient manner, the amount of waste left over in our facility is at an extreme low.
Recycling is an important part of our manufacturing process. Scrap from the EPS used in production is reground to various sizes and can be used as insulation, packing peanuts, and concrete filler.
The concrete filler has the greatest potential for improving concrete’s low R value. We have formulas for creating foamed concrete that can add as much as one R-value per inch of thickness all from recycled waste.

Bob's journey in construction began early, honing his skills while building homes along the scenic Barnegat Bay in New Jersey. After proudly serving four years in the military, he returned to his passion for building. In 1991, Bob founded Western Design Construction, quickly becoming a leading custom home builder in Southeast Idaho.
With over 41 years of experience in construction and artistic design, Bob personally oversees every project, ensuring top-quality results and complete customer satisfaction. His portfolio includes a diverse range of projects, from remodels to custom homes and commercial buildings. Each year, Bob typically constructs 10 to 20 homes while also completing several commercial ventures.
Active in the Builders Contractors Association of Southeast Idaho for 16 years, Bob has held several leadership roles, including President, Vice President, and Parade of Homes Chairman. He’s a former Master Builder and has contributed to his community through service on the Bannock County Land Use Commission and the Sewer Task Force Committee. As a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bob is also a licensed General Contractor in the State of Idaho.

Jason's journey in construction began at the age of 12, and since then, he has transformed a diverse array of structures, from single-family homes to commercial projects, including unique kiosks and concession stands.
With a talent for innovation and a keen eye for artistic design, Jason has specialized in 3D signage and themed construction. His impressive portfolio includes everything from hospitals and restaurants to theaters, Parade of Homes entries, dental offices, and themed suites for both residential and commercial clients.
His work has taken him across the country, with projects extending as far as Canada and Kuwait. With 37 years of experience in the industry, Jason has mastered nearly every aspect of construction, adopting a motto of "if you need it and it doesn’t exist, invent it yourself." This inventive spirit fuels his passion for the job, and he thrives on the exciting opportunities each project brings.
One of Jason's standout experiences was serving as a guest designer and contributor for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Pocatello, ID, and Salem, OR.
